Terazo Restaurant offered fine bistro dining set within a tropical Indo-European styled pavilion. Inspiration for the interiors came from the owner’s collection of illustrative European travel posters from the 1930’s featuring exotic travel scenes of Java and Bali. Those framed graphic artworks were featured predominantly throughout the restaurant and establish the retro-contemporary visual vibe.
Custom dining chairs and bar stools were fabricated in teakwood with rattan insets and gave a French-Deco 1930’s feeling yet were ultimately modern in their angularity. A soothing color palette of sea-glass, sage, dijon, and bronze emphasized the rich and relaxed mood of the interiors. A trio of leather framed mirrors with cut-glass crowns gave the main dining space a sense of low-key grandeur as did the crisp white linen tablecloths.
